Hey, hey Life Scribers! I’m back for our final week on wedding stories. If you need to catch up with this specific topic, you can do so by visiting post 1, 2, and 3.
Well, it’s the last Wednesday in June and that means it’s time to take one final look at some wedding story ideas and then say adios to this topic and welcome in a new topic for July.

Wrapping it All up
For this final week, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on the close of the wedding day. Plenty of scrap pages document the honeymoon that follows the wedding, but I see few that talk about those final impressions as the newly married couple is saying their final goodbyes to their guests and heading off on their first adventure together. When documenting this particular time, consider these ideas:
- Document all the special moments you had a chance to share with your wedding guests, including quintessential moments like the father-daughter dance, toasts and more.
- Document what your immediate plans were (or are, if the big day is upcoming) for after the wedding. Did you head off on your honeymoon straight away? Did you spend a quiet day or two to rest and recoup after all the hubbub of the wedding before the honeymoon trip?
- As a newly married person, did you feel any different parting with your guests than you did arriving at the venue for the wedding earlier that day?
- Take a moment to reflect on what your hopes and dreams for your new married life were (or are).
As always, if you have wedding story pages you’d like to share that were inspired by this series, please feel free to link them up in the comments. I’ll be back next week at the start of a new month and with a new topic for you. Have a great week, my friends!
